Pokemon go是「吃電大怪」玩家都深刻體驗過了，iOS 系統被拿掉的省電模式「Battery Saver」，也在這一次更新後有了省電模式選項了。點精靈球後，按右上SETTING就見到Battery Saver，就不用再擔心很快玩到沒電。

另外，很重要的一點要提醒玩家的是，此次更新增加了限速的警告！只要你移動速度過快，就會跳出警告框，然後就無法玩遊戲了，這應該是為了防止有人邊開車邊玩遊戲的機制，會提醒訓練師不能使用，訓練師必須回覆說不是才能玩。
